Description:

The site features the Victorian home of James Wickersham, an early Alaskan judge, congressman, author and historian who was largely responsible for the founding of the University of Alaska and Denali National Park. The restored 1898 home displays art and memorabilia from the judge’s private collection. It is located southwest of the Last Chance Mining Museum.
