Housed in an historic compressor building of the former Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Company, the museum features gold mining artifacts, the world’s largest air compressor and underground mining exhibits. Visitors access the museum via a short hike up a hill. Electric locomotives and rail cars are also on display.
Open Daily, mid-May to late Sep: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 - 6:30 p.m.
